Would you mistake the above image for a computer rendering? What you’re seeing is a collection of absurdly intricate columns made out of cardboard by one Michael Hansmeyer. To be exact, each column is made out of around 2700 1 mm thick cardboard slices. The columns each have between 8 and 16 million polygonal faces.
