Overnight New Zealand time – while the Cadimage team slept, after an extremely intensive week – GRAPHISOFT Budapest were busy shipping ArchiCAD 15.

At the same time, our web developer (who resides in the Czech Republic) ‘turned on’ our ArchiCAD 15 Tools ready for download!

As a team we work extremely hard to upgrade, test and prepare our Tools so they ship when ArchiCAD ships. This results in a number of late nights for the whole team in the lead up to release and sometimes unfortunately there simply aren’t enough hours in the day.

So while the majority of our Tools are uploaded ready for ArchiCAD 15 there are two that will be uploaded early next week:

• Cadimage Stairs – as you will have seen we have created a wonderful new Stretchy Stair Tool. A couple of technical hiccups at the 11th hour has prevented us completing this.
• Cadimage Wall Frames – This Tool is virtually complete with just one remaining bug to iron out. The Tool was deprioritised to ensure we could still release the majority of our Tools.

While we could have worked exclusively on Stairs and Wall Frames in an effort to have them ready for release we would  have done so to the detriment of our other 11 Tools. So while it is a little disappointing to have  a couple of loose ends we are stoked to have 85% of our Tools released waiting to be downloaded. Also while ArchiCAD 15 is now officially shipping we know that many of you won’t have it on Monday so we still have a little time up our sleeves.

Lastly a big thanks to the Cadimage Team for all their efforts over the last 2-3 months that has allowed us to hit our biggest milestone of the year and to all our customers we hope you enjoy ArchiCAD 15 + Cadimage Tools – it is an outstanding version.
