Solibri Inc., has just released version 6.2 of their Model Checking software. This new version brings a bunch of usability and efficiency updates to the market leading Solibri Model Checker, as well as the new Automated 3D Selection Box feature.

The automated selection box makes it possible to single out areas of the model while checking. From the press release:

“The Automated 3D Selection Box makes it possible to isolate issue ‘areas’, as well as individual design issues. This feature enhances and streamlines the model analysis process and workflow.”

A couple of important notes about the new version:

• SMC6.2 models are not compatible with older versions of SMC
• Licenses for older version of SMC will work fine in the new version
